Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,


Monday, August 29th and the start of the 2022-23 school year is only 3 weeks away! I hope you are making the most of your summer and enjoying your break!


Today, August 8th at 9:00 AM, students, parents and guardians will be able to view their 2022-23 schedules in their Powerschool accounts.  If you forgot your password, please contact our IT staff via email: [email protected]


Schedule changes are not possible, since schedules were built and staffed with the requests that were conducted last winter for the 2022-23 school year. If you feel as though your schedule is missing a needed graduation requirement, or you are scheduled for a class that you did not meet the prerequisite, please email your counselor asap. If a student would like to schedule a class where a study hall now falls, the counselors will schedule those requests during the first week of school. It is not necessary to contact them now to fill the study hall.


If after reviewing your schedule, changes are required based upon the conditions noted above, please contact your counselor to discuss the situation.  Counselors will be available on August 16th & August 17th.

Listed below are a few reminders:


UBCTS Students

ALL Palisades UBCTS students will eat lunch at Palisades High School! If you are an AM Technical School student, you will return from the Technical school for the start of period 3, which will allow us to assign you to either A, B or C lunch. If you are a PM Technical School student, you will eat “A” lunch and leave for the Technical School at 11:25 AM. 


Seniors

All seniors MUST carry a minimum of 6.5 credits during their 12th grade year. Technical school seniors MUST carry a minimum of 6.0 credits during their 12th grade year.


Freshmen

Freshman Orientation will take place on August 26, 2022 from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  In July a letter was sent to all incoming freshmen, and earlier this morning an email was sent with information.


Advanced Placement Courses

Advanced Placement students are reminded to complete all summer assignments prior to the start of the school year.  If an AP student wishes to drop an AP class after August 15th, the student must verify that they have completed all summer assignments prior to the drop request.  Dropping an AP class due to incomplete summer assignments is not a valid reason for a course change.


Dual Enrollment Classes

Students taking dual enrollment college courses through Bucks County Community College on days designated as 1, 2, 4 indicate that it is a Monday/Wednesday class, whereas 3, 5, 6 signifies it is a Tuesday/Thursday class.


Summer Reading & Assignments

All students are reminded to complete their summer reading and Social Studies assignments prior to the start of school.  Students will be completing assessments for their summer reading assignments during the second week of September.
