 Upper Bucks 250 Heritage Day
Sign up for a shift on Saturday, May 16 for this celebration of America's 250 years at Tinicum Park (flyer attached).  Volunteer your time and enjoy the displays of  artwork, historical videos, and a live band performance (at 1 PM).  It should be a great day to celebrate the rich history of Upper Bucks and its influence on our nation's independence.

Upper Bucks Empty Bowl Supper
The Palisades Community Foundation is sponsoring this event to raise money for the food pantry on Friday, May 9, 5:30-7:30PM in the Palisades High School Cafeteria. If interested in volunteering you can get at least three hours by coming earlier to set up and staying after to clean up. Contact Paula Focazio ([email protected])
PCF Annual 5K
Palisades Community Foundation will host their annual 5K on May 17th in the PHS stadium and they are looking for student clubs / volunteers to set-up a table to provide an activity for the elementary student participation. If you are a member of one of the participating clubs, please notify your advisor you would like to participate. If you are not a member of a school club, contact Mrs. Dengler ([email protected]). 
 Cotton Candy Concessions
Grades 9, 11, and 12 can help sell cotton candy on April 22 from 3:30-7pm at the PHS football field/track for service hours. Since this is a sophomore class fundraiser, 10th grade participation can not be counted as community service.

 Lord's Pantry - Ceramic Bowls
We need volunteers to make ceramic bowls! If you have experience on the wheel you can come and throw some bowls. If you don't have wheel experience, that's ok, we are also making slump mold bowls. Springfield School-Wide Yard Sale
On Saturday, April 27 from 10am-2pm Springfield PTO needs help setting up and breaking down tables/tents as well as running a table. For more information and/or to sign up, contact Erin Schuback ([email protected]). 
 Hold on You Matter Spring Walk
On Saturday, April 27th, the Bucks County Suicide Prevention Task Force is holding their annual walk at Bucks County Community College in Perkasie. Students have the opportunity to both volunteer at and attend this event that raises awareness about mental health.

Tinicum After School Clubhouse
Help the Tinicum PTA work with Tinicum students during their "After School Clubhouse". Clubs have ranged from:  Lego club, dessert decorating to cheerleading to basketball to board games, to name a few. Canal Cleanup Group
The second Tuesday of each month - estimated time 3:30-5. Need your own transportation to Tinicum/Point Pleasant, PA on the canal. Two volunteers per month needed. We will be working with Tinicum elementary students to cleanup the canal - this includes brush debris and trash pickup. Supplies will be provided.

Palisades Regional Fire Rescue Community Day
October 7, 2023 at PALMS from 2 to 8. If any school groups/clubs or athletic groups would like to have a table at the event to either fundraise or raise awareness for a cause, contact Evelyn Keough ([email protected]). Each table would be free to the groups/clubs.

Spring Intramural:
 We need volunteer coaches who would be provided with guidance and coaching plans for a group of 10-15 players.

May 9th 6-7pm

Summer Intramural: Dates TBD. Two weekday sessions a week for 5 weeks. Typically end of June through beginning of August. We need volunteer coaches who would be provided with guidance and coaching plans for a group of 10-15 players.

Fall Intramural: Dates TBD One weekday and one weekend session a week for 5 weeks. Typically late September through the end of October. We need volunteer coaches who would be provided with guidance and coaching plans for a group of 10-15 players.

Fall Travel: Any youth 16+ who would be interested in assisting to coach a younger age travel team -this is a great way to start building your coaching resume. Assistants would help with two practices per week and a game each weekend.

For coaches who are interested, Palisades Youth Soccer Association will reimburse the cost of any Grassroots coaching courses up to a National D License for those who coach with our club for at least two seasons.

Shamrock Reins is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) Charitable Organization formed February 10, 2014 to provide Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies for Veterans, Active Duty & Reserve Service Members, First Responders, their Families, and the Families of Fallen Heroes. Shamrock Reins is a Safe Haven, a calm, peaceful, safe, nonthreatening, non-confrontational place for our Service Members and their Families to heal.

Plumsteadville Worthwhile Thrift

Visit the WorthwhileWear.org website to fill out a volunteer interest form. Students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to volunteer.

Proceeds from Worthwhile Thrift stores serve as additional financial support for Worthwhile Wear's restorative programs for survivors of human trafficking. The stores also provide vocational training and employment for women participating in The Well program. This means donating and shopping with us truly makes a difference!
