The STEM Outreach club is made up of students interested in sharing their passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with others. We make opportunities to learn new skills and technologies like graphic design and 3D printing to complete our initiatives.

What we do: We partner with other school clubs and outside organizations to spread knowledge and make the world a better place. Past projects include coordinating a STEM Night for elementary school students and planting trees at Nockamixon State Park. Our tree project at Lake Nockamixon called, "Planting with a Purpose" is an ongoing project made possible by a grant from NOAA and our partnership with the Nurture Nature Center, local Master Watershed Stewards, and Key Club.

Origins: Palisades High School was one of the first in the state of PA to elect a student panel of Chief Science Officers who advocate for better science education in our school, district, and the greater community. The Chief Science Officers formed the STEM Outreach club in 2018 as a way to involve other students in promoting their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math initiatives.
